Construction of hand launch glider
¤ñÁɳW«h Rules for the competition
1. ¥i¦Û¦æ³]p¥ô¦ó§Îª¬
1. Shape: any shape will be accepted (the shape above is for reference only)
2. Á`«¶q¤£¯à¶W¹L6§J
2. Weight: must be less than 6g
3. Ál®i: ¤£¯à¤Ö©ó250 mm
3. Wing span: must be more than 250 mm
4. Ál±±¿n: ¤£¯à¤Ö©ó145¥¤èÍù¦Ì
4.Wing area: must be more than 145cm square
5. ¸¦æ¶ZÂ÷: ¥H««ª½¶ZÂ÷pºâ
5. Flight distance: Perpendicular distance will be measured
6. ¨C¦ì°ÑÁɪ̥i¥H¸ÕÂY¤T¦¸
6. Three trial flights will be allowed for each pilot.
For F.2 ~ F.3 ¤âÂY·Æµ¾¾÷ªº»s§@

1. ¹w³Æ¤@¶ô½¦(2mm)¬Ã¯]ªO12"x12"¤Î¹º¥X·Æµ¾¾÷ªº§Îª¬ 1. Cut a piece of (2mm) formboard 12"x12" and mark the shape as shown.

2. ¥Î›Ð¤M›Ð¥X·Æµ¾¾÷ªº§Îª¬ 2. Cut out the shape of the glider. |

3. ¥Î§`ªu¬õ½u¦V¤UÀ£ 3. Press down along the red line with a ruler.

4. °ÆÁlÀ³»´·L¼¦V¤W 4. Alierons should be bent slightly upward.

5. ¦b¾÷Ál©³³¡¥[§â¤â 5. Attach a handle at the bottom of the glider. |

Rules for the competition(F.2 ~ F.3)
1. ¥²¶·¨Ì·Ó¤Wz§Îª¬¤Î§`¦T³y¡C
1. Must follow the shape and size of the above design.
2. Á`«¶q¤£¯à¶W¹L6§J¡C
2. Weight: must be less than 6g
3. °ÑÁɪ̥²¶·¯¸¥ß©ó«ü©wªº½d³ò¤º(2§`x2§`),±N·Æµ¾¾÷ÂY¥X¡C·Æµ¾¾÷»Ý¶¹L«e±ªº««ª½¦Ë¬ñ,µM«áªÅ¤â±µ¦^

3. Stand inside the square(2 ft x 2 ft) and throw out the glider. The glider should turn back after passing the vertical pole
in front and hold the glider with your hand.
4. ©ó«ü©w®É¶¡¤º¼Æºâ¦¨¥\±µ¦^·Æµ¾¾÷ªº¦¸¼Æ¡C
4. Within the assigned period of time, the number of successful grasping of the glider will be counted.
5. ¨C¦¸ÂY¥X¤Î±µ¦^·Æµ¾¾÷®É,°ÑÁɪ̧¡¤£±o½ñ¥X«ü©wªº½d³ò,§_«h¸Ó¦¸¤§ÂY¾÷¤£¦C¬°"¦¨¥\¦¸¼Æ"¡C
5. Every time you throw and grasp the glider, you should stay inside the square or your throw will not be counted
as successful.
For F.4 & F.6 ¤âÂY·Æµ¾¾÷ªº»s§@(WalkAlongGlider)

1. ¥Î¦Lªí¾÷¦L¥X¹Ï¼Ë¡C 1. Print out the template.

2. ¥Î›Ð¤M±N(2mm)¬Ã¯]ªO¹ï¨¤›Ð¦¨¨â¥ó¡C 2. Cut the 2mm formboard diagonally into two halves. |

3. ±N¤T¨¤§Î¬Ã¯]ªOÅ|°_,µM«á§â¹Ï¼Ë¶K¦b¬Ã¯]ªO¤§¤W¡C 3. Stack the triangular foamboards and place the template on top.

4. ¥Î›Ð¤M›Ð¥X¨â¥ó¬Û¦Pªº¾÷Ál¡C 4. Cut out the wings.

5. ¦b¾÷Ál©³³¡¥ÎÅK§`ªu¹Ï¼ËªºÂŽu¦V¤UÀ£¡C 5. Under the wings,use a ruler to press along the blue lines as shown on the template. |
6. §¹¦¨²Ä¤µ{§Ç,¾÷ÁlÀ³¥X²{¤W¹Ï¤§©·«×¡C 6. After finishing step 5,the wings should curved as shown above. |

7. ¦b¾÷Ál³»³¡¥ÎÅK§`ªu¹Ï¼Ëªººñ½u¦V¤UÀ£,§¹¦¨«áÀ³¥X²{¤W¹Ï¤§©·«×¡C 7. On top of the wings, use a ruler to press along the green lines as shown on the template. The wings should curved as shown above. |
8. §Q¥Î¾÷Ál©·§Î¦b³Ñ¾lªº¬Ã¯]ªO¤Wø¥X¤â§â§Îª¬, µM«á±N¤§›Ð¥X¡C 8. Use the curved surface as a template to cut out a handle from the residue formboard. |

9. ¤â§â©M¾÷Ál§Îª¬¦p¤W¹Ï¡C 9. The shapes of the handle and the wings. |
10. ¥Î½¦¤ô±N¨âÁl¤Î¤â§â¶K¦n¡C 10. Glue the wings and handle as shown. |

12. ³Ì«á¦b¾÷Ál«eºÝ¥[¤W«ª«,¥Î¥H½Õ¸`·Æµ¾¾÷ªº«¤ß¡C 12. Finally, add weight to the front of the glider to adjust the CG.

Rules for the competition(F.4 & F.6)
1. ¥²¶·¨Ì·Ó¤Wz§Îª¬¤Î§`¦T³y¡C
1. Must follow the shape and size of the above design.
2. Á`«¶q¨S¦³¨î,¦ý³Ì¦n¯à¦b7 ~ 8.5§J¤§¶¡¡A§_«h·Æµ¾¾÷¤£¯à¶¶§Q·Æ¦æ¡C
2. Weight: it should be weighted between 7g and 8.5g or it will not glide smoothly.
3. °_¨B®É,°ÑÁɪ̥i¥Î¤â§ßµÛ·Æµ¾¾÷,¦ý¶V¹L¬õ½u¤§«e¡A¤£¯à¦A¥Î¨Åé¥ô¦ó³¡¥÷©Î¥ô¦óª«¥ó±µÄ²·Æµ¾¾÷¡C
3. You may hold the glider during start up time but you are not allowed to touch the glider with any part of your body or material before passing the red line.
4. ·í¨Åé¥ô¦ó³¡¥÷©Î¥ô¦óª«¥ó±µÄ²¨ì·Æµ¾¾÷®É¡A°ÑÁɪ̥²¶·¥ß§Y°±¨B¤Î¥H¦¹¸¨¸}ÂI§@²×ÂI¤Î¶q«×·Æ¦æ¶ZÂ÷ªº¨Ì¾Ú¡C
4. If any part of your body or material come into contact with the glider, you must stop proceeding and the position where you stopped will be the reference point for measuring of the gliding distance.
5. ©ÎªÌ·Æµ¾¾÷±µÄ²¨ì¦a±®É¡A¥ç¥H¦¹¸¨ÂI§@²×ÂI¤Î¶q«×·Æ¦æ¶ZÂ÷ªº¨Ì¾Ú¡C
5. If the glider land on the floor, the point it touch the floor will be the reference point for measuring of the gliding distance.
